You are right - if you can do C++ you can do anything - that is what I have been told by many developers who do both. I just want to learn so I understand the basics.

I actually don't have a tech background. I was an acctg and finance recruiter first and came to the tech group. I have a BA in Native American Studies, long story. I will eventually look at MBA programs b/c I would like to be an executive of a startup finance-technology firm.
