Hi Dave and all ! Hope you are all ok. My micro-economy (ie my biz) is doing well - plenty of work lined up for September. I hope things will improve globally too.

I am far too much of a gentleman to take pictures of the lady sleeping next to me on an airplane!

Good to hear from you after all this time - I guess we can all afford to be a little distracted as the lull after the first wave-front comes through. I rather think it's going to be a wild ride from here on though, as the US is now borrowing about $200 BILLION a week (rollovers and new money) with the 'bank countries' eyeing up other places their money might go.

Live, long and prosper.

Thanks for the compliment Mark.

I do remember this one. It is quite commonplace. We are so enamoured with our ideas that we are unable to distinguish our selves from our opinions. A difference of thought turns to heated exchange because we identify our selves with our thoughts. Dispassionate, clinical analysis gets clouded by perception and belief.

Passion and rationality are two valuable attributes rarely seen together in an individual at the same time. When these traits converge what emerges is sheer brilliance. If this runs in a team you have a winning combination.
